Instrument introduction:
The 859 Titrotherm is a potentiometric titration with a temperature probe.
Applicable to: acid-base titration (including weak acid and weak base); redox titration; complexometric titration (such as EDTA); precipitation titration; non-aqueous titration.
Applicable Industries:
chemical manufacturing; fertilizer; mineral smelting; electroplating industry; synthetic acid mixture and munitions production in semiconductor industry; pigment and bleach (modifier); TAN and FFA
Technical Parameters:
The temperature probe is based on semiconductor technology (thermistor) and incorporates Metrohm’s electrode technology. The response time is only 0.3s and the resolution is 10-5 K. It is an electrode for temperature titration and can accurately and quickly respond to temperature changes.
Metrohm’s Dosino bottle-top driven dosing technology has established a volumetric titration standard, which not only saves space, but also ensures very high accuracy.
Clear software interface, you can adjust the screen, display method parameters, so that you can quickly find important commands or parameters. The endpoint is determined by calculating the first and second derivatives of the titration curve, and additional parameters can be optimized.
Main Feature:
- Both endothermic and exothermic reactions can be measured by thermistor, and the temperature change rate can be used to indicate the end point.
- The Electrode does not need to be calibrated and maintained.
- One electrode is suitable for various titration types.
- The electrode does not have electrical contact with the solution and reduces sample preparation.
- Process measurement is fast – usually only 2-5 minutes
